An osprey passed over the reserve at approx. 1.25pm today – being mobbed by a pair of lesser black-backed gulls.
At least 4 chiffchaff singing around FAUNA & the orchard for a few days now.
2 wheatear were in the field being ploughed today plus up to 15 linnet still there.
A couple of days ago I noticed a copulating pair of great spotted woodpeckers near a nest hole – should be interesting to watch progress there!
