The first flush count of the Winter season was carried out today, in mild but very wet and windy conditions.

There were 65 different species recorded on iNaturalist for Fairfield Nature Reserve in August 2025.

I spent 20 minutes watching an otter slowly progress along the canal from opposite the gate out of the Pony Wood path
