The Fairfield Cycle Hub provides secure bike storage for local residents as well as public access maintenance and temporary bike parking facilities.
A space in one of the hangars on Wingate Saul Road costs just £25 per year.
One hangar is already in place and another will be soon. In total there will be twelve spaces with priority given to residents in LA1 5D* postcode areas.

The project – the first of its kind in Lancashire – was funded by the Fairfield Association, Avanti West Coast and Lancashire County Council.
