The Unmissable Garden

We are delighted to announce that one of Lancaster’s most stunning gardens will be open to the public as part of the Fairfield Open Yardens Weekend on 21-22 June 2025.

Tucked away at the end of Carr House Lane, the garden has previously been part of the National Open Garden Scheme and raised thousands of pounds for the Fairfield Association in the process. This year it will be open again.

Full of interesting plants and architectural features, the garden is designed with nature in mind, and includes a large secluded pond full of newts and frogs and the owners have planted hundreds of trees which are now mature and attract a wide variety of nesting birds including finches, thrushes and jays.

If you haven’t seen it before, its a must-see. If you have, then you will be able to see all the changes since your last visit.
