A pair of Canada geese were on one of the ponds by Aldcliffe Rd.Â
We saw our first swallow today over West Field.
On Saturday April 6th, along the Long Pads by Flora Field I picked up the lovely song of a linnet

This female kestrel was being mobbed by magpies by the Aldcliffe Rd. gate.
On 10 March there 4 song thrush were looking for worms .

On a walk round on Tuesday 27 there was a redpoll by the path from the canal to Pony Wood. Also a list of sightings from the board.
These birds were recorded on the reserve by Rachel Malloch on 17 February.
