The roe deer with her fawn were spotted in an Aldcliffe Rd. garden adjacent to Upper Sowerholme on Monday 17 June. It is likely that they get in from the corner of the Hay Meadow via a neighbour’s garden.
It’s possible therefore that when Christine saw the doe in the Hay Meadow, she was with a fawn. It’s not a good image because the lighting was poor and the fawn skittish.
