On Monday 2 December we carried out the second Snipe survey of the winter season. The fields were very wet after the recent rain.
- Big Meadow was unusually quiet, and we only recorded 5 Common Snipe and 3 Jack Snipe.
- School Pond: 13 Common Snipe,
- Hay Meadow: 1 Common Snipe and 2 Jack Snipe
- Upper Sowerholme: 1 Common Snipe
So, in total, 20 Common Snipe and 5 Jack Snipe.
