On a walk round I saw a redpoll by the path from the canal to Pony Wood, 2 moorhen on the ponds in West Field, very active blue and great tits by the Fauna path and heard a song thrush in the north end of the orchard.
Recently a pair of amorous stock doves were seen in Flora Field.
These birds were recorded on the sightings board at the feeding station:
- 2 reed buntings
- 2 robins
- 3 blackbirds
- A flock of chaffinches
- 3 jackdaws
- 2 woodpigeons
- 2 blue tits
- 2 great tits
- 1 mistle thrush (heard)
- 1 goldfinch
- 1 wren
- 1 redpoll
