We will be having a volunteer session this Sunday 11th June starting at 2pm.

Tasks may include repairing the damaged irrigation supply pipework, suppressing sycamore seedlings, investigating building maintenance requirements, and general gardening duties.

May 2023

Sunday session

The weather has finally warmed up a bit, and the vegetation is burgeoning. The Triangle needs a bit of a haircut, so we will be having a volunteer session this Sunday 14th May, starting at 1pm to hopefully beat the rain.

March 2023

Sunday session

We will be having a volunteer session this Sunday 2nd April, commencing at 10am for the keen, and recommencing at 1pm for the extra keen, or for those who are unable to join us for the morning.

The reason for this extended timescale is that we will be installing our new bench. The plan is to dig the necessary pair of holes in the Triangle’s rather hard ground in the morning, hopefully while a second unit completes assembly of the bench; take a well-earned break for lunch; and then position and concrete in the bench in the afternoon.

For those not on bench duty we will also be able to offer various gardening tasks, mostly related to vegetation control.

Monday meeting

Our next meeting is on Monday 3rd April at 7.30pm at 61 Regent Street. The minutes of the last meeting are loitering here.

February 2023

Bench news, a session, and a meeting

Our new bench has been delivered, and we now need to think about getting it installed.

We will be having a volunteer session this Sunday 5th February at 1.30pm, which will include unloading and unpacking the bench bits, and initial assembly in the workshop. There are also gardening jobs to do including pruning the vine, clearing twigs, and playing with leaves.

With barely a pause for sleep we then have a meeting this Monday 6th February at 7.30pm at 61 Regent St. The minutes of the last meeting are a 30 second read and can be found here.
