The Fairfield Association was formed by residents and friends of the Fairfield area of Lancaster (England) in response to the threat of housing development on a long-established children’s play area . The Association is now responsible for around 50 acres of land over five sites: Fairfield Green Play Area, the Community Orchard, the Aldcliffe Triangle (also supported by Friends of the Triangle) and the Fairfield Nature Reserve, made up of Fauna and Flora .
