At least four this morning in the LGGS Field. On the brow of the hill, so very clear view of two but just heads of the other two.

Oyster catchers
Two members reporting a clear sighting of oyster catchers feeding in Flora Field on Sunday morning.
Treecreeper collecting nesting material
Photo was taken this afternoon.
Flower identity
Can anyone identify this flower, to be found under the big trees just to the east of the stumps?
And there was a song thrush in the Orchard this afternoon.
Nuthatch
Passing along another sighting from Michael (spotted Saturday morning):
Just to let you know there was a nuthatch flitting around by the stone orchard sign just now. First time I’ve seen a nuthatch in the orchard.
Still winter?
Whilst touring the estate today, Graham flushed a snipe in Upper Sowerholme. So at least one still hanging on in winter quarters, whilst the rest have moved away for summer. Also a surprising sighting of three Canada geese swimming on Alder Pond.
Bird Activity
Yesterday, we saw our first swallow going north over Fairfield, and today 5 or 6 swallows flew round our house.
In the Orchard we saw a pair of treecreepers,
as well as a pair of tree sparrows putting nesting material into O1 (Orchard 1 box).
This is an important development for Fairfield as this is a target bird that we have been trying to attract to the area.
In West Field we saw further evidence of nesting behaviour on the part of jackdaws.
Nest Boxes
Walking around the Reserve today I noticed another occupied nest box.
