Community-made Willow Domes!

The Fairfield Association was initally set up in response to concerns raised at a community level, and it is the community that is at the core of the organisation’s plans and decision-making processes.

Working together, with everyone putting in what they can, has enabled us to achieve amazing things over the years, from preserving and improving Fairfield Green and Fairfield Community Orchard, to more recently creating a 50 acre nature reserve made up of Fauna and Flora Fields.

We are very grateful for all the support we receive from so many people – please get involved in helping us continue to preserve our green spaces for future generations by becoming a  community member, a Fairfield Friendhelping out or just coming along to one of our regular meetings to learn more about us and our work.

Aside from the regular work party volunteering sessions, the Fairfield Association also organises many other events throughout the year, not only to raise funds, but also to provide a focal point for the local community to relax and have fun. These include Wassailing in January, Easter Egg Hunt, Fairfield Fun Day in July, Apple Day in October and Carol Singing on Christmas Eve.

Details of events, including meetings and volunteering sessions, can be found on the FA’s blog, twitter and Facebook sites, the Calendar and on noticeboards in Fairfield Orchard, Fairfield Green and in Fauna.
